Excellent! This is a great place to get some traditional Ukrainian comfort food. Their soups are a must try (my personal favorite is the classic chicken noodle soup- perfect when you're feeling under the weather). I also love their combo meals which give you a good variety for an affordable price. They offer plenty of indoor and outdoor dining to best accommodate your preferences, though the service outside is admittedly a bit slower. Overall, can't recommend enough!

I adore this place! They have first-rate food, their menu is varied, The cook in that restaurant is an expert, I love very much trying all their dishes. The dishes are always fresh, the attitude towards the customers is helpful. I go often to this restaurant and I not even once was unhappy. Highly recommended.

Everything was delicious and comes in sharable portion sizes. If you are in the area and looking for a simple bite (and possibly a drink) I would definitely recommend going here.nnThey're perogies are a must try. I have a sweet tooth so I prefer the fried ones with cheese and cherries; but the savory ones are just as tasty.nnThey have special grilled cheese sandwiches this month ... Mine came with brisket & was absolutely amazing.nn... sorry, it was devoured before I thought to take photos...

Excellent! Food was delicious :-) I ordered the vegetarian plate for take out with mushroom gravy, and loved it! The food was prepared quickly. The mushroom gravy was so delicious, I wish I had it to put on all my food. I see why Veselka continues to be such a staple and so popular with the East Village for so many years. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

I have been here several times before. The desserts must be sprinkled with crack because I just craved for more and more. I found the ambiance to be very charming. Satisfactory experience, will come again.
