Wonderful tour. A privately owned property being restored to the original. An addition houses new tenants and caretakers.
Beautiful stories pertaining to all he contributed to help Joseph Smith establish the restored gospel & translate the gold plates into modern scripture. Loved the missionaries, Bro. & Sister Whetstone, who shared their testimonies with us.
I am sure my great great great great grandfather is grateful to have his home restored and open for tours around 200 years since he lived there. I loved it when I visited a few years ago.
Beautifully restored. You can gain a real appreciation for the beauty of this area nestled in among trees with the Susquehanna river as a backdrop.
