Brought my cuz here that loves gem mining and had not done it in years. Had the time of her life and so did I. Brought back many great memories to her :0). Looking forward to going again and the staff was great. Not to mention currently getting the whole mine to yourself ( Your Family ) during Covid. That is another plus on that :0).
Smaller than what I was expecting, but I nice place to dig and look for rocks if you need something to do.
Good corvid 19 safety demonstration on why and how mask helps prevent the spread of the virus.. Safety 10ft distance checked and maintained. Also found some great minerals.
Had a great time digging Rhodonite!
It is a beautiful place to spend the day hunting for gems. You can definitely find lots of them.
