Newark Police Department 3rd Precinct

The officer that arrived took control of the situation and made order of the dispute. We all wound up leaving on good turns. It is not easy to deal with people who feel wronged, but the officer knew how to talk the loud ones down to a calm tone. Thank you NPD for being there for us!

It is an embarrassment to call these individuals police officers, POOR customer service, POOR interest in responding to residents calls. You call them and they keep you waiting for hours for a unit to respond and or go to where needed!! Not for nothing but now I understand why some individuals take matters / actions into their own hands because if you wait for these ”officers” you will be dead by the time they send a unit over to protect you. Ohh but for simple things such as no turns,if a car does it ... there you will see about 3 units searching the car and making it a bigger deal than what it really is ... I seen it.nThat s why Newark it’s the way it is.
