We LOVE the Chester, NH Police & Fire Departments. They are always very kind, patient and concerned about whatever we need. The Police Dispatcher is so patient and kind and the Fire Dept. will call us periodically to make sure we are safe (we are Seniors). God bless them all and keep them safe!

I was pulled over tonight 6/16 at about 10:30 right at the intersection of 102 and 121. I was terrified because of the late hour. I had a great day celebrating my fathers on Fathers Day and his return home from the hospital after a 3 week stay at the Elliot after a broken hip. I had my dog, I was exhausted and just wanted to get home. I saw a cruiser parked just in the break down lane and knew I was going to be pulled over as I was going a bit over the speed limit. The Officer came to my car and I have to say, he was kind, asked about my dog and my father and spoke with me with extreme respect and sincerity. I do not know his name as he only gave me a verbal warning. I did shake his hand and Thanked him for his service, I want to tell anyone traveling on 102 in Chester, NH do the speed limit and obey the laws, but if you do get pulled over? I hope you run into this Officer. He was AMAZING!! I was blessed to meet him and Thankful he reminded me of the speed limit. Whoever you were Officer and to your Chief, THANK YOU and kudos for making me feel a bit more comfortable and at ease considering the circumstances that “I” caused him to pull me over. I hope your Chief reviews the stops that you make and gives you the recognition you deserve Officer! Thank you!!!

Was talking with one of the officers today. Seemed like a genuinely nice guy. Definitely reflects well on the department.

Make sure you go no faster than 41mph on 102... But seriously really nice officers and very helpful!
