I loved it there as a former student everyone is very supportive

They didn't listen to what I had to say about how my child learns. He comes from an difficult past and that makes it hard for him to trust adults. The third grade teacher would single him out an cause him to shut down and refuse to work. It got to the point that if he breathed wrong she would send him to the principle or send him home. I tried to sit down with Mr. Martinson he effectively called me a bad mom for moving my son around to different schools as we tried to get away from a violent situation that we were in. He ended up leaving his office and left me with the teacher that didn't care about my son for the remainder of the meeting. If I could afford to he would not be returning to this school this next year. In short if you don't fit their perfect cookie cut mold for a family you're not welcome at the school.

Not sure about the school, but my kids love the playground. Good place to stop for a break while in GR.
