Me and my missionary companions from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints came and did some service here. It's a really neat place with some cool free flyers and maps and lots of good newspapers & resources for doing your family history if you're from around Beltrami County. The staff are super nice! There's also a little gift shop.

This is a very cute museum that is a little off the beaten track and easily overlooked. It is located in the historic train depot and has extensive exhibits of The history of the area including the logging industry, Chief Bemidji, and the loss of tribal land.nThere is also a mural that depicts the glacial movement and how it has created the terrain as we see it today. You can see the museum in its entirety in an hour. Well worth it!

I was in town for one day to do some research on my family history. The staff and volunteers here were extremely helpful and very knowledgeable.
