I love both the coffee and the spices at Germack. My favorite drink is the Chai, hot or iced and all of their spices are top notch. Oh, Germack also has their own brand of high-quality, delicious trail mix varieties too. Put this place on your list of one of the top places to visit in Detroit!
I buy most of my spices and loose leaf tea here. Love their coffee as well. Great place to grab a consumable gift, whether it's from the coffee/tea side or the nuts and candy side. And although I'm typically a black coffee drinker, I can't help but get a chili Mexican whenever I'm here. They're doing a great job keeping everyone safe during the pandemic as well.
There are so many choices, it might take a while to navigate the store, but it is definitely worth the effort. Fresh prepared items, very clever to have 2 separate entrances, one for coffee items, and one for the variety of nuts available.
Fantastic selection of nuts, coffees and other treats. Centrally located in the Eastern Market in Detroit. Great service. Must come and browse
I have never been able to get past the grassy taste of Matcha. It literally made me feel like a goat. But then I tried Germack’s Iced Matcha Latte w/ Oat milk and honey. Boyyyy oh boy. I stopped feeling like a goat.
