Cool museum featuring Fords from across the ages. Learn all about the Machines That Built America. Not so much on the murdering of striking workers or Ford's patent antisemitism, but you can't be everything to everyone, right?! Seriously, though, lots of beautifully preserved old cars. Dress warmly in the winter, it is largely unheated.

If you are in Detroit and looking at learning about the history, stop in at the Ford Piquette Plant! We enjoyed our time here, getting a storied and interesting tour from Greg. (Detroit History Tours also offers a guided audio tour if you prefer a solo experience). We absolutely loved it, and will be recommending it to anyone visiting.

A killer museum in the heart of Detroit! The perfect place for that car enthusiast and history buffs out there. It does a wonderful job depicting the history of the auto industry. Their car collection is out of this world! I highly recommend purchasing a ticket and exploring with one of their tour guides. They are amazing! The private gravel lot is nice and safe, along with the surrounding lots and street parking. There are a ton of stairs to the second floor of the museum, but there is an elevator for those accessibility-friendly individuals. This museum has a little bit of everything for everyone! It is truly a gem, a must-see during your time in Detroit!

A great piece of Detroit auto history. Our tour guide gave us a connection to that time period because of his telling of personal stories from people that lived back then. Saw lots of cars from. That period. They are following COVID safety precautions and the place is big enough to socially distance if you want.

I enjoyed the place. They had many mant different types of model cars built by The Ford Company (A-T models). The tour guide had a lot of good information on the cars and about the wage and how they were paid. The womens restroom was very cool I liked it a lot. The only down of the trip was the gift shop, there wasn't a miniature build of a model A-T car. It would've been pretty cool. Only downside of the trip
