Armando and Andy did a great job helping me get what I needed to ameliorate a nasty and corroded saddle valve.nI initially worked with Andy to get my hands on the necessary shark bite (no solder required) plumbing. Following further analysis, I realized I would need to do a full-up copper pipe soldering job. Not wanting to wait on a plumber, I decided to pursue my first solder. Armando provided extensive advice on tools and techniques, including buying the right blow torch for the job and how not to burn my house down. After cutting out the saddle valve, I found a dripping pipe. I called Armando who very quickly tracked down a special water blocker that allowed me to complete the job and restore water to my house. The end result wasn't pristine, but no leaks!
So happy to have Carpenter Bros Hardware still hanging in there (Ann Arbor) after moving back here for some time , they have always help me and my family with there great customer service.

Great, helpful staff, and a decent selection. Not as much inventory as a Home Depot, but a great alternative when you need something small and quick and don't want to trudge into HD.
