I loved this school because I was able to connect to a lot of kids because of how small it was. Although the drama was really bad but that's how it always is in junior high. The teachers help a LOT especially if you're a good student. The only bad thing other than drama is the fact that the old school counselor stated her opinion on a serious subject and argued with a whole class and wasted our whole day before the test for it. And we still ended up having to take the test and most of us failed. But I heard that she is gone and there is a new counselor so it should be fine :)

I loved this school. I went here for two years in middle school. I am now in high school but I would totally recommend this school to anybody. Most of the teachers are very nice and will help you with anything. Personally, my favorite teacher was Mrs. Butler. She helped me out so much and she has ADHD just like me so she understands what I was going through. Awesome school. I would give it a 10/5 if I could.

this school has never had somone for people i really really would not go there is super shady staff and they will pick and choose favorites when my brother has been in the office its been another kid and they called him in they always assume the kids that look the worse the teachers dont really teach they barley explain stuff and are super rude to me I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL

I have been blown away with how amazing this school has been for my children. The teachers my kids have this year are the best, and the school councilor is fabulous! My children have grown so much this year. No only have they grown academically but emotionally and socially. The teachers have met their needs not only with their weaknesses but in their strengths. Challenging them and supporting them where needed. I volunteer weekly and have seen first hand how smooth the classrooms are run. Being a former teacher myself and a behavior specialist I can spot developmentally appropriate practices and these teachers are above the rest! Both classroom teachers are calm and collected and never raise their voices. The classroom runs smoothly with routines and boundaries set in place. We love Summit Academy!!!
