Definitely with visiting. History of firearms from the days is manually loaded flintlocks to present day automatic rifles and machine guns. Lots of historical narrative and video. One interesting aspect was the manufacturing process. Many, many exhibits. Take your time to browse.

Awesome to see the place the history books talked about. The standardization of fun parts and the weaponry innovation were amazing. Wait until you read all of the companies that were born if those who worked at Springfield Armory

I have been planning to come here for a long time, I am glad I did. Just a great piece of American History. Great displays and the rangers were exceptionally friendly. As soon as I walked in the rangers were enthusiastic about the site and more than willing to share their knowledge. Excellent historical site ..just don't forget to wander around outside, there are adjacent buildings that are neat and good views
