Don’t try and order food from them online; you may be left hungry.nnI showed up to pick up my order, and they had no idea what I was talking about. Even after I showed them the confirmation email, they were unable to locate any food for me. Not very apologetic about it, either.nnI can give them three stars because we have ordered from them before. The food is usually pretty good. Even in those prior orders, though, there were some unfortunate mistakes.nnIt’s critical that we support Kalamazoo small businesses. But it’s hard to do that when they don’t get you what you order.

I have tried several times in the last year to support this business - I really do know times are hard and that everyone is struggling right now, and I believe everyone deserves second chances, especially small and local businesses. But all but 1 time they have sent me food that I can’t eat because of food allergies. I have specified, every single time, that I do not want eel sauce because I can’t have it, and every single time it arrives with eel sauce on the food and I have to throw the food away. I have called the business to ensure that it doesn’t arrive with the sauce, and it still arrives that way.nnThe only reason I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1 is that I know times are hard and that the folks who work there deserve to have jobs. But I won’t be going back to this restaurant or ordering from it again because of the money I’ve wasted, and I’d suggest that if you also have a food allergy that you be cautious as well.

I have eaten here twice. The first time the seafood boil, better known as the mate was delicious. I raved about it to my friends and family. This time it was horrible. Everything tasted like it had sand in it which made it quite unappealing. I couldn't enjoy anything with that gritty taste. It was a huge waste of almost $70. I'm not even going to call and complain. That was a risk I took but I'm very disappointed. The customer service was awesome as usual but I think this will be my last time patronizing this business.

We had a lot of fun here. Great show, had us all laughing. Everyone took home leftovers the portions were so big.

Honestly, if it wasn’t for the convenience of this place I wouldn’t go here. EVERY time I have ordered out here they forgot at least one thing. Today it was 2 including a full meal. It’s a 40. min round trip for me and I had to go back and argue with the workers because they refused to get a manager. I don’t understand why they think I would waste 80 min. trying to get food from them if it wasn’t what I ordered. Good food but terrible service. If you have another hibachi to order from then do it because these people will surely mess up your order then you have to fight to get what you ordered and in this case today they would only give me the meal they forgot and not the side they forgot.
