Great House...bad Docent. It is one of the best preserved historic homes in New England and this tour could have been so much better with a different guide. Bill was very knowledgeable and so thorough it over ran the hour by 40 mins. Folks as a result were being added into the tour. We stood in one room for more than an hour as we listened to Bill recount the entire history of the Seward family. To improve this overall experience this man needs to restrained to hour. Too bad overall.
An incredible museum, that offers a true window into the past. Wonderful tour guides.nDefinitely a must see for anyone interested in early American history.

My favored Harbor in York. Great walking trail through Steadman Woods.
