Dexter Police Department

I showed up to Dexter Maine after 93 mile,as a homeless person. I found a warm spot out of sight out of mind. An uber car shows up and calls the police. Dexter police show up quickly, a male Officer approaches me with a flashlight. He asks me what I'm doing. I told him sleeping, I just traveled 93 miles to get here. He tells me I cant stay here, he told me to stay at a gazebo by the water

I had a very good experience with officer Morse .He was very helpful, even though what I spoke with him about was technically a civil matter. He said he would work with me to resolve my issue and I believe him.Once I had a very bad experience with Dexter police department ,but speaking with officer Morse has made my opinion change. I am so thankful there officers like him in Dexter Police department.

Very polite and helpful
