Beautiful old station right next to downtown Lake Bluff. The station house has a waiting area, with a bookstand where you can pick out a book to read while waiting for the train. The station used to have a restroom and a place to buy tickets, but those were recently closed. Not sure if they’re updating the restroom or not. There’s lots of parking, and an area where you can pick up and drop off people.
As long as you don't have to be anywhere on time, this train isn't bad. The station is great.
better than the one in Libertyville but not by much
Went to Chicago, Tuesday and walked to Willis Tower five blocks away, Then took a Double decker bus around the city, for a relatively low price. what fun , we're going again today.
Easy to use with great reliability. And it's inexpensive to ride.
