It's a good place to see the Chicago Auto Show near the beginning of the year. Also, the other convention events that happen during the year.

The best shows in the world! It is amazing! I was here two times on American beauty show and 1 time on Chicago auto show...So big and great building, beautiful design! I want to came this year for the next American beauty show...it very cool and great experience for me!

Good location and pretty easy to get to. I went to the auto show on 2/10/19 and I had more fun that I've had in past years. I would reccomend going and giving the auto show another try if you haven't been there in a while

Massive convention center -- be prepared for lots of walking to get anywhere. Lakeside Center has gorgeous views of Lake Michigan and is a much bigger space than it initially appears. Limited number of hotels/restaurants nearby, a car, cab or shuttle is a necessity from downtown.
