Well worth the stop if you like to see vintage toys and eccentric items. The man that owns the place was Super friendly and gave us the tour (take the tour as he is great with his puns about the displays!!!) We spent about 45 minutes there and very much enjoyed it. Tour is free, but they do accept donations and it was well worth the donation we left. Would recommend for adults for sure, and older kids. (Little kids probably won't get the puns and they can't play with the toys).
This place is absolutely out of this world. Pictures can't do it justice. The people that live there (and who built it and maintain it) are super friendly. I just showed up unannounced and the guy started giving me a tour (which is necessary, the place is enormous) and... The puns. Oh my goodness, the puns. Everything is a pun.nnA must stop off you're anywhere nearby. It's free but they accept donations.
Very unique and unusual roadside attraction. So many things to see. The owner's live on-site and are very friendly and will give guided tours of the property. A fun place to see.
The wife and I are on our anniversary vacation and decided to stop by. We couldn't be happier that we did. The owners Keith and Diane (sorry if the names are a little off I have a short memory) are wonderful people people with lots of heart and personality. My wife and I loved the folk art, puns and Toyland. It was so much fun and had a lot more to it than we expected. There's more history there than meets the eye. Ask for the guided tour. You can tell it's so much more than just a road side attraction, it is a labor of love. If we are in the area again we'll definitely stop by!
Definitely an interesting place, very unique. The curator, Keith, is witty and very very pun-ny!! The toy land is a trip back in time.
