Today While on Hwy 280 struggling to take the lug nuts off a flat tire Officers R. Campbell and R. Ballard stopped to assist. They untightened the lugs and escorted me to the nearest tire shop. Thank you for serving our community well. Praying for your peace and safety.nR. Thornton

After being in a Hit-&-Run today with miraculously no damage to my vehicle by an irate driver which turned in a straight only lane and then across three lanes of traffic and hit my rear passenger side of the vehicle, the police department officer Rochester and another police officer both informed me that the police are not interested in finding this criminal and giving him a citation, this is even after he admits to me that the plate number JWT9061 matches the 2012 Grey Ford Mustang description that I reported had hit me. The police department acts like they don’t have access to the CCTV footage to see what happened and they assured me they could make a report and it would only effect my driving record and my insurance would go up.

Great men and women work out of this station. I've had the opportunity to deal with many of them at work. Though there are some that act like they just don't want to be bothered and if you don't look like an upscale tourist then they give you an attitude for asking a question,
