I had an amazing experience while visiting the Lenora Rolla Museum. The museum was very clean and extremely organized. I was provided with a tour by the Executive Director of the museum, Mrs Brenda Sanders Wise. She is extremely knowledgeable about the artifacts housed in the museum and when she tells the story about the contribution that African Americans made to Tarrant County, Texas and beyond, it is a history lesson that I will never forget, one that will always be etched in my heart and soul. I give much thanks and appreciation to the Tarrant County Black Historical & Genealogical Society Organization, for their unwavering commitment of keeping the African American Heritage alive, in the City of Ft. Worth Texas.
Big things do come in small packages. Learn the colorful history of Black Americans in Tarrant County throughout the years in this wonderful museum in a house that hugs, guides, teaches and keeps you wanting to return again.
This place is phenomenal and a hidden gym . We must support the endeavors of the Tarrant County Black Historical & Genealogical Society to help preserve African American history and culture in Tarrant County
I took a group of senior citizens and it was a great experience for us all. The tour guide was very knowledgeable of the history of our community.
I absolutely enjoyed my visit to the Lenora Rolla Heritage Center Museum this past weekend. Ms.Sarah Walker was very knowledgeable of the area and provided my mother and I will a great experience. I encourage everyone to visit.
