2 of my kids attend this school never had problems with the staff very friendly as well as principal and assistant principal always greeting you!

the receptionist Castillo gives you one hell of an attitude! Other then that this school is good.

Where do I begin??? Ah... No child left behind here at this school means NOTHING. You can miss work for countless and will come to find out pointless meetings. You can BEG and cry to be involved with your child's learning and ask for a syllabus or something to keep up with what they're doing so you can also help your child at home and GET ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! You can email the district and NOTHING happens. If you can keep from it, dont send your child here! The principal is a fast talker- luckily I've been in corporate America enough to know when someone has a lot of words to say but says nothing at all. Staff (some not all) have automatic attitudes as if they hate their lives or choice of career. After doing research, I highly suggest you do, this school ranked worse than 70% of the schools in Texas and 31st amongst 50 elementaries in AISD! I have a 3rd grader whom has low 70s averages and I on day 1 asked for a syllabus so I could also help my son - Clearly bc I dont want to and certainly cant leave it all up to school to teach him, have I gotten that??? NO! Has a teacher reached out and said hey, he's struggling in this area, here's some extra work or we have tutoring after school.. .. NO! But I did have office staff last year felt it was just fine to ask an academically struggling kid (My routine of wanting and being involved as much as I could remained the same) to stay after school to help clean their office, BUT I GOT NOT 1 CALL, TEXT, EMAIL, MAIL Nothing saying their concerned and will stay after school to get his understanding and grades up!nI'd say run as fast as you can away from here as we're trying to do now!

I requested for my kid to be put in the morning group at pre k and since they didn't have no room they just pretty much said go look somewhere else didn't offer to maybe be put on a waiting list didn't seem to care
