Oakridge has been a great school for our children. We have a Sophomore and a Seventh Grader who have both been at Oakridge since their First Grade year, and they love it! Oakridge is a diverse community of families and educators who all want the best for their children. I love the emphasis on balance that Oakridge stresses to its students and families (Academics, Arts and Athletics). Our family values Spiritual Development as well, and while Oakridge is not a Faith-based school, it does welcome and embrace the right of students and families to be who they are and respect what they believe. I would recommend Oakridge to anyone.

Oakridge is the best decision we could have made for the education of our son. The instructors are empowered to teach with innovation and a true dedication to their profession. The student body is diverse, like the larger world in which we are preparing them.nnOur son graduated with the Class of 2016, and is truly prepared for success in college and in life. Oakridge is a caring, respectful, and encouraging environment that is truly like family!

The best educational value for our children. Truly, a college prep school, not just a private school. Oakridge is special among private schools in the Dallas Fort Worth area, partially because of its racial, gender and social diversity of the student body and faculty. But one of the most important distinguishing factors for us is that Oakridge tracks the progress of its students in post graduation college performance and adjusts its curriculum to address future student needs.

As graduates and parents, my husband and I thoroughly enjoy the education provided by The Oakridge School. Our student is flourishing and has been introduced to foreign language, reading, and mathematics at an early age. The facilities have improved and grown thanks to the active and involved parents.

Last year was our first year at Oakridge and our son was in the 6th grade. We enjoyed every aspect of the school with the opportunities in academics, arts and the physical education program. We especially enjoyed the opportunity for our son to experience instrumental music for the first time.nnWhenever there was a bump in the road, it was handled positively and quickly and we feel very much a part of the family experience at Oakridge! We are looking forward to another great year!
