SERVPRO of Athens/Mineola/Palestine

Had ServPro come to my business to clean the floors of a commercial kitchen that I just purchased. They gave me an estimate of $692 to heavy clean my floors. Two hours of light surface cleaning and they were finished and heavy grease remained. They should be embarrassed by this quality of service. I will certainly not use their service again.

I reached out to ServPro because of a previous employee that was always friendly. All we needed was for a deep clean of our gyms carpet. Carl was not available and moved to another area so I trusted that the (equally friendly) Rachelle could help us out.nShe came out and quickly made an assessment while measuring the square footage. The quote was fair and we decided on a date.nQuincy came out with his cohort on the day of the cleaning and did not have the proper information or equipment to get started. I asked to reschedule because I was too busy to have them figure out getting a hose long enough to reach the entire gym. The communication with Rachelle revealed that they were to purchase a hose from the local Lowe’s to do the job that day. I was happy that they were working it out. The job was done but the next morning there was the WORST STENCH of rotten eggs I have ever smelled. Apparently while in his haste, Quincy sprayed too much water on a high setting leaving water to sit overnight that cause the stink. I believe his mind (because also he spoke of it) was on getting overtime when he would be sent to Houston to help with the flooding there.nHe was directed to come back out to rectify the situation but just wanted to deodorize the carpet.nI put my foot down and had the him and his new crew member redo the entirety of the job. It was also discovered that they had taken our “caution wet” sign the day before but I was able to get it back from their van without incident.nThey left and the smell was gone and so were some of the stains that didn’t come out on the first attempt.nI had to ask 4 times for a bill to be sent to my email. When it finally was delivered to my inbox, it was almost $300 higher than the original quote. It took a couple of days to get an invoice that reflected close enough to original quote.n4 stars for rectifying the issues. Without I would have given the company a 2 star review.

I have really enjoyed my experience working for Servpro AMP. They are locally owned and operated and they truly care about the community. The knowledgeable and trained staff set the bar.

When my son was born pre term and we came home from the hospital with water everywhere. Serv Pro made sure not an ounce more stress was on our plate. Always recommended.
