Very informative, great grounds, I even picked a fig. :)
Really interesting exhibits. Blacksmith, smokehouse, textiles building, cane press. Great for kids. Neat events. Fun place. Nice staff.
We went for the cane syrup demonstration. They pressed the cane stalks to extract the syrup. It was then cooked in a giant pot. They had other demonstrations going on also. Very interesting and very educational.
This was a great little stop on our day in Nacogdoches. We loved our guide today. We enjoyed the history that unfolded before our eyes. Thank you for the time.
