Great school! I started at this school midway through my 8th grade year and I graduated in 2014. I was supposed to graduate high school in 2014, however; when I was diagnosed with a brain tumor in December of 2010 I thought that graduating with all my church friends was just a dream. This school had my back and everyone was there to support me when I returned to school! The people are friendly and the staff is wonderful. Mr. Sweet was my math teacher when I started there and I believe he is still the math teacher!

We enrolled our son at Yorktown Education two years ago and we are so very pleased with his development, we can honestly say it’s been a superb experience. He is thriving and most importantly, loves going to school and loves all his teachers. The school is academically strong and has a great feeling of community. The education and development of each child is paramount and the teachers really bring out the best in each child, challenging & engaging with them and are highly attentive to each child's individual development. The curriculum gives students great grounding in all subjects and teaches them important life skills, such as independence and respect for others. We like to observe how Yorktown Education enables the well-trained and caring teachers to give our son a variety of individual lessons throughout the day. But most of all, we love the ways in which Yorktown Education implements their school philosophy of a well-rounded education that teaches our son common courtesy, how to care for his environment, and a wide range of practical life skills that are helping him develop independence and self-confidence. Let me emphasize that Yorktown Education provides superb education and follows personalized curriculum and method. While Yorktown Education students are taught to be involved in self-selected work, bear in mind that teaching a student to choose what to do is not the same as letting him or her do whatever they want. Understand the exact sense of structure unique to a Yorktown Education classroom, and familiarize yourself with the Yorktown principles and concept of a Do What You Love coursework. If you consider Yorktown Education for your child, I highly recommend Yorktown Education in Plano wholeheartedly. For us, it strikes just the right balance of a structured and supportive environment that fosters academic preparation along with independent learning and intrinsic motivation. We, parents, are always welcome to visit the school and join in various activities, and the community of parents is excellent and we have formed strong friendships thanks to the school. In addition, the Dean of School Mrs. Purvi Ajmera has been very caring, highly attentive, responsive, willing to address our concerns, and happy to share with us her vast knowledge and experience. We are fortunate to be part of Yorktown Education community. Finally, I am lucky that my son is surrounded by such caring and devoted teachers who LOVE what they do and love their students.
