Had my son with special needs attend this school during the year 2015 -16. The experience was awful. The special ed. team, then led by Ms Rachel Taylor and Ms Dawn Raschke, was a total disgrace to the field of special ed. and the spirit of IDEA. My son, a bubbly and a cheerful 7 year old then, was completely unwanted in their classrooms, and there was a total lack of spirit and desire to work with him. Most of their assistants were untrained too. I compensated for this partly, by enrolling him into an home based ABA program, but they didn't want him even half day! Finally, got rid of them by changing my residence for a better school for the next year.nBeware of sending your child to this school if he/she has special needs. Check out if the same teachers and special ed. staff is still there.
I love this school!! Too bad I have to go to middle school - I only get to be in Aldridge for 1 year!! I'd get held BACK to be back in Aldridge!! I love my homeroom teacher Ms.Potter! : )
