I wish I could give zero star .My son has been this school for six years and it was awesome until 2017- 2018 school year the new pricipal Yliana Gonzalez took over ! She changed the rules in the middle school year.( they claimed it has been approved by district) Anyway, I have some considerations to talk to her with. The reception lady told me I gotta make an appointment with her so principal will call back to confirm.Of course she never called to confirm and I showed up at school for the appointment . The lady at front desk told me she wasn’t available! They can’t even give me the time frame to talk to her . Previous principals made time for parents and they stayed in touch with parents when parents have concerns . What kind of pricipal is she that she can ditch the parent like that and never confirm the appointment ! She cant even manage her time with the parents , then how is she going to manage the kids in school .

When I went to this school I was constantly bullied the councilors did not help at all. My friend serenity goes here shes a bit younger then me shes told me about constant bullying and no help from the teachers , or councilor. Dont send your kids here. This place is one of the reasons I came so close to committing suicide at one point.

The school has gone downhill since the new principal Ms. Y. Gonzalez started. Not only does she lack the ability to run what was once a decent school, but the office staff, under her leadership have no idea what they are doing and run around like chickens with their heads cut off!nnUPDATE: After my daughter moved to NEISD, I've learned what a joke Hartman's dual language program is! My daughter was in Hartman's dual language program since kinder, but only tested Spanish at kinder level at NEISD. She's in the 2nd grade! So sad... I'm not sure to blame it on the teachers at Hartman, or the school and their wack ass program, but I'm glad that we are no longer a part of Judson school district (especially Hartman), because now my daughter is getting the education at NEISD that she should have been getting at Hartman! Wish I could give this school 0 stars!! Go elsewhere if you care about your child's education! They seem to care more about tardies then giving our children the education that they deserve!
