Website/Facebook shows innaccurate info right now. They are not open. It is still beautiful and a nice walk but you cant go in any buildings. The gift shop is open to relieve you of your money lol..there is a restaraunt on site and that was open and seemed busy. We will def take a trip when we are done w the covid craziness..

If you enjoy historic houses, you will love this place. Some houses have guided tours, and the guides are quite knowledgeable. Others are self-guided with a docent near the entrance. There is a nice gift shop opposite the Visitors Center. I only had a few hours to spend and therefore didn't get to see the entire street. I will go back.nIf you are into old graveyards, do visit this one. It's at the end of a side street, ask for directions.

My husband and I did the tour of the old houses recently. We both loved it. So much history here. The guides were all very nice and full of knowledge. Yes, there is walking involved but I tried to feel what it was like years ago. It is so worth it.

Our 4th visit from the UK to this historic street and still love it. Visited the Museum for the first time today and it is recommended that you don't just pass this attraction by. Its a wonderful collection of American history. Free to enter but donations welcome.

Fun, educational walking history area. Some self guided houses, some guided tours. Children's activities available. Multiple centuries represented. Primarily focuses on colonial history, with some mentions of indigenous peoples.
