If you enjoy peaceful walks with nature on every corner this is the place to visit. I was able to see plenty of deer while looking at all the buildings. Though there are no tour guides, they do provide papers that have QR codes that tell you about every building on the path. Staff that is in the visitor house is quite knowable about everything there.

Do much history here. Beautiful property and really gets your brain ticking on the past.

Only self guided tours. I would wait until they start doing guided tours again.

Nice place for history bluffs, kids. Lots of room and country quiet.

This was a fascinating tour into the area's history and some of the hardships encountered by the people who settled this area. The display of tools used during that time took a lot of physical skill and prowess to eek out a sustainable living. The rural architect is very different from the architect of the same period found in larger towns and larger communities. Well worth the price and experience of stepping back in time..
