My grandson just started attending Russellville Elementary School after fall break. He already loves his new school. Ive been walking him in in the mornings just to make sure he finds his class and doesnt feel nervous or scared. That was also my way of checking things out. (I think i was the nervous and scared one.) He wanted to eat breakfast at school this morning, so I took him there in time to do that. Now ive raised 3 children and have 6 grandchildren that attend school, so i have been in and around a few schools in hamblen co. But what i saw while having breakfast at Russellville Elementary this morning was awesome. The students and staff there seem to have good relationships. Seemed kinda like family. I feel like that is very important for a young child just getting started in school. One particular staff member ( won't mention any names) Im almost certian their job description doesnt involve being in the cafeteria every morning helping and interacting with the kids, but there they were, making the children feel special. And I as a parent/grandparent I really appreciate that!. So cootos to RUSSELLVILLE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!. They are awesome.
