Lots of Tennessee and railroad history here. We had docent Donnie give us a great tour. Awesome model train track replica of the Dickson switching center. Enjoy. Please check out those great ceilings! You'll see.

This is a 1913 working man's railroad hotel that has been restored and turned into a train museum, it is also the birthplace of TN governor Frank G. Clemeby, there are exhibits inside that tell about Clements life and his work during his years as governor. There are also exhibits that tell about life and history in Dickson county. This building also houses the Dickson Visitor Center where you can find pamphlets, brochures, flyers and maps for the city of Dickson and surrounding areas.

Really nicely restored railroad hotel museum with great info on governor Frank G. Clement, the civil war and history of the Dickson area and on segregation and African Americans that served in the military. The place is much bigger on the inside than it appears from the outside. There is also an amazing room with a very detailed miniatures model of old Dickson and the railroad that is a must see!
