Everything was really nice and clean. They had a little breakfast that included scrambled eggs, biscuits, etc... the check in time was a little late but we didn’t have to wait too long. They let us in a little early when the room was cleaned. The only disappointment. I was really looking forward to the indoor pool but it was cold. And the chlorine smell was so strong it smothered us. We didn’t go swimming. Saw 2 little kids come out dry with their mother and all their little floats. They looked disappointed too. But except for that, everything was great. Nice people.
Awesome place to stay. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Indoor pool. And the price was outstanding. Will definitely be back.
Overall, a pleasant experience. They've recently remodeled the lobby and breakfast area. However, they don't serve breakfast due to COVID. I have 4 stars because the rooms smelled faintly like paint and the beds are substantially high off the ground. We're Wyndham members and stay at several of their hotels and this location has higher needs than any of the others we've been to. My four younger children had trouble getting up and the height would have hurt them had they fallen off.
This was the only affordable hotel near my husband’s job (which is out of town from where we live). The morning he was supposed to go we found roaches AND bed bugs. He was not able to go in the first day for the job because we had no where to stay. Had to go home.
The staff was very accommodating when I got into town early and the room was already clean and available. They have oversize parking spaces, convenient access to I-40 freeway, restaurants nearby.
