I submitted a claim with HWA Home Warranty of America (who I also DO NOT recommend). I was assigned WJA Construction Electrical and Plumbing for two bathtub leaks. While on the phone with the rep I told them that WJA Construction has 1 star ratings and I was concerned about having a plumber come into my home during the pandemic when the reviews stated they had no follow up or had to make several visits due to incompetency. The agent explained that I needed to let them give me the diagnosis and if they can’t cover the repair they would pay for someone else to fix the leaks. I said fine. Bryan (?) from WJA Construction arrived the next day 2/16 and told us the leaks were due to high water pressure and HWA would call to schedule the repair appointment. I didn’t hear back from HWA so I just called this evening 2/17 and was told they wouldn’t cover the claim because it’s “secondary”. I paid $75 to be told by HWA that they could not cover it. I find it hard to believe WJA did not know what would be covered and he lied right to my face about them scheduling the repair. Professional scam artists.

Terrible experience with this contractor though 2-10 home warranty. Didn't fix hot water issues adjusted the temperature and left. No professionalism with contract prior to the fix. Don't use if assigned though home warranty ask for another contractor. I will never hire again.

My home warranty company sent them due to my toilet making a running sound & my shower making a dripping sound also. The guy came out, replaced the rubber piece in the back of the toilet (which was $1.50 part) & that’s it. The toilet started running right time he left & I had to turn the water to the toilet off! I called & the owner said they couldn’t be out for a week! I had to pay another plumber to come out, only to find out he didn’t put the correct size part in the tank. The repair guy for WJA couldn’t pay enough attention that I had to pay another plumber to fix it! I’m dropping my home warranty for even using their business. Don’t hire them, waste if money!

Sent by my home warranty co., 2-10 Warranty, who I subsequently fired, WJA charged me $100 to turn an adjustment screw in my shower faucet. It didn’t fix the problem and they left saying “I’ve done all I can.” I had to hire another plumber to come in and switch out the faucet. Stay away from WJA! Read the other other 1-star horror stories with this company.

I needed my garage door motor repaired. The technician showed up with a brand new unit. The technician quickly assessed my garages’ configuration and quickly installed the new unit , wall pad, and outside pad. He also programmed everything so I didn’t have to. Very professional.nI would definitely use this service in the future!
