We're an electrical contracting company that reserved 2 rooms for our technicians at the Red Roof Inn in Sumter for about 8 weeks and we couldn't be happier with the great service that we received there during our stay. The staff was extremely helpful in accommodating our ever changing schedule without a single problem. Sonny and Mandi went over and above when it came to customer service and we will definitely stay at the Red Roof Inn in Sumter any time we have a job in the area. Their price was fair and we couldn't have ask for better service anywhere. Thanks again you guys for a job well done.
Looks like they are trying to update a few things..but they are a lot more to do to be a decent Hotel..spend a few more $ and stay some where else..
Nice spot not loud and price is fine.just need to update or paint some stuff so it wont look to outdated. But plan on getting for a week or two.
Absolutely disgusting. Everything in the room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. The bugs didn't seem to mind, though. The cockroaches seemed particularly happy to have some company. If this is indicative of the typical Red Roof Inn, I'll never stay in another one.
The pictures are so deceiving! The room they advertise with the white comforter and red wall is the one I stayed in! It looks nothing like the pictures! I had sanitizing wipes that I used to wipe the counters and nightstands etc. down they were black from dirt it was so disgusting! The sugar packets were filthy, I ran water thru the the coffee pot 3 times to try and clean it out but dirt was still coming out if it so I just heated the water in the microwave. There was cockroaches crawling on the counter by the coffee maker! The room was just overall disgusting. The only good thing about this experience was the front desk clerk was very sweet. I should have taken more pictures.
