As a resident of Myrtle Beach; WMBF has been a great source of news, weather and human interest stories. As a local business owner however WMBF has been a critical partner in our growth and success. Rachel, our Account Executive, has educated us on all sorts of media marketing from TV commercials and Geo-Fencing, to search engine and regional targeting. She and her team filmed and produced a unique video commercial that they air as well as use in digital ads. Rachel's marketing plan has increased our website traffic over 500% from 820 new users a month to over 4,000! Thank you so much Rachel for helping us make a name in the market and we are excited to be a part of the annual WMBF Hurricane Expo.

Great news team, really professional! Been watching since they went on the air August 2008. Beautiful, state of the art studios too.
It's the local news station. The studio is there, etc. Everyone is courteous and professional.
One thing has become quite clear regarding WMBF News local news coverage. The conflict of interest (accepting exceptionally large Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce branded advertising packages), has seriously eroded the community's ability to get unfiltered and fairly produced news articles.nWMBF has forgotten that there are local residents that want to be able to rely on local news outlets for all sides of local news.nThe residents of Myrtle Beach already have a 24-hour tourism channel on cable, we don't need a local news outlet mirroring the tourism channel.nFor this, WMBF scores one star.
