The elevator is a scary ride. Very jerky, and noisy.nUpon entering the room I saw the in-room-safe had no lock on it, and there was a pair of dirty socks on the floor in front of the safe.nI walked into the bathroom and the toilet seat was up, and the shower actuator was up.nIn the second floor hallway the carpet was stained from one end to the other.nnTotally not like any other Country Inn & Suites I have ever stayed in.

Nice, clean, comfortable, and spacious suite, especially for the price.nThe biggest thing I liked is that at check in the clerk was especially friendly, knowledgeable and even called me by name. (Which she got off my reservation) It made me feel welcome and like I was visiting family versus being on a business trip.

Place is pretty dirty, but honestly you get what you pay for. They let me have my dogs here and were the only place that I could find that do that. That alone made it so worth it! We were able to take them to the ocean for the first time and it was amazing ud83dude0a

We went to the first room we were assigned and there was a major water leak on the floor right in front of the door. Walking in the room initially we were excited because there was a Jacuzzi and ample space in the room until we saw a roach. We were scared to sit down. I went to use the phone to call down to explain the situation but the phone was inoperable and there was crud all over the phone. The room is extremely outdated. We went down to explain, the receptionist was apologetic and immediately moved us into a new room. Still outdated but we didn't see any bugs but the initial incident left us on edge and so it was difficult to sleep. Because we arrived so late we stayed at the location versus going to another hotel. To think we paid a little over $140 for this place.

I chose this hotel due to the cheapness of it, and last minute need to go to Pawleys for a wedding. It was a very standard hotel, and you get what you pay for. The hotel is old, and not upkept, but it's comfortable. The breakfast right now is not a real hotel breakfast but pre wrapped muffins and bottled juices, but of course that is due to COVID. The lobby smells of chlorine due to the pool being indoor and right down the hall. The room was fine, the bed was fine, all in all, it was just fine. The front desk staff was helpful and courteous.
