Police Detective Division

In September of 2019 my wallet was stolen from work with my debit card and SSN inside. The thief spent almost $1000 prior to be cancelling my card at liquor stores, gas stations, and on their Sprint phone bill and attempting to pay their PSO bill and buy over $500 of goods from Nike.com (my card was cancelled so it got declined). I reported to police immediately using the online police report with the info that I had available. Never received a follow up call like I was supposed to. 8-10 weeks later I was checking my credit report and noticed that Cox Communications had placed a hard inquiry. I contacted Cox and they informed me that I had an install date of 12/10 at 10am. I called the detective on my case giving him the persons name, address, email, phone number, and install date/time information. Cox gave me all info regarding the account because I was the primary name on the account (because he used my SSN and DL info to open the account) and supplied me with the information of the thief which is everything they needed to arrest the suspect. That didn’t happen. Not once did I receive a follow up call. I called back around 12/15 to check the status of my case and verify TPD had the correct phone number and they did. When checking my credit report with the Cox inquiry I also noticed that 3 credit cards had been applied to and declined. I have since had to freeze all credit inquiries from all 3 major credit bureaus and still have zero answers.nnAll I want is justice to come to someone that stole thousands of dollars from me, dinged my credit score, and has cost me hours upon hours of fraud reporting with the FTC and SSA. I have received no info regarding my case from TPD and they have all of my contact info. I have looked up the suspect (from the Cox provided info) on OSCN and he has multiple felonies pending including 2nd degree burglary, possession of stolen vehicle, and 3 counts of unauthorized use of credit/debit card all since January 2019.

Having called 911 twice I was thrilled at their responsiveness and how they managed to quickly tie up loose ends and take control of the situation. Sgt. Matthew was extra helpful texting me things would be fine.

These guy know how to solve homicides, Probably the best in the business.
