After a couple moves we ended up in Waxhaw, NC and at Prospect Elementary School. We are VERY happy here. The teachers and principal are wonderful, They are firm, yet fair and supportive. My daughter has flourished here and her grades reflect that. When we go for open house or other activities after school all the teachers know her and us by name and are friendly. If I have any questions I can easily reach out to the teacher or office and always receive a fast reply.nnThe school has tons of artwork and murals in the halls that give it a fun feeling. Including the ceiling tiles in the hallways having been painted with all the countries flags!nnWe love it here.

This is one of only TWO backward schools left in the state where adults still beat young people with wooden boards. Violence is what is taught and those that assault school students could not work at ANY other job in the USA and hit people with wooden objects (that they may even purchase off of some spank porn website) without being arrested and jailed for assault and battery.

Four of my grandkids attend this school. Two joined this year and have learned so much. Mrs. Darden noticed that my granddaughter had an abnormal eye test and kept open communications with me until she received her glasses. What a change in her. Thank you. All four kids have different teachers and all four are above my expectations. We love this school, teachers, and faculty. Professional caring people.
