Our little guy loves trains and there's a few here that he loves to come see and run around. We haven't had a chance to go inside the station yet as we just chase our kid around outside. He loves it so it gets 5 stars. :)
A great place to bring the family to learn railroad history.
There are 3 elements to this museum: a storefront with a variety of miniature train layouts; a restored train depot; and an outdoor pavilion with rolling stock. This museum is a work in progress - you can see an ambitious layout in the process of being developed and a caboose in the process of being restored. There are some nice pieces in the depot, including a headlamp from one of FDR's funeral train.
Nice people love the layout and history
The space was perfect for my son’s monster theme first birthday party! We had plenty of space for seating, the food, a “photo booth”, and a play area for the kids. The room is beautiful and bright, a nice blank slate for any party theme.
