I've always grown up going in here as a kid and uncle had painted it a few times so got to be alone touring myself around absolutely wonderful memories with my brothers and sisters
Every time I have visited I've had a great experience. People are helpful and great to work with. I've purchased many of the books for my own research and the Yoder map I bought has been a wonderful help in locating the many areas my multiple family lines have lived in. I'm dating myself but when I was a kid this was the courthouse!

Helpful staff, informative displays
This is a small museum however it is operated in a professional manner. Accurate and useful information about Catawba County is readily available to visitors. School field trips are a regular occurrence. I recommend a visit to any history buff.
