Officer Burt, came to my assistance during a very stressful situation as I was traveling through going back home up North. She went above and beyond what was expected and did with a calm, kind demeanor. Today I saw southern hospitality in its truest form and officer Burt is a credit to her uniform.

I ran out of gas on the lumberton exit with my 5 year old child in the car called an asked if they could possibly bring ne some an hour cover the charge they told me there was a gas station up the road an that they sell gas cans I thought it was protect an serve obviously not

The police chief is caught on video smoking marijuana and he begs for forgiveness and Grace but I'll bet that he never offered forgiveness and Grace to anybody he arrested. I am absolutely sick of law enforcement officers who are just as bad if not worse than the people they lock up. I think that if a police officer is found to have committed a crime his penalty should be at least double that of a normal citizen. And the police wonder why people do not respect them.
