Best Western Tunica Resort

The hotel was WAY overpriced, the rooms were basic and had several minor issues, the customer service at checkin was terrible. I travel a lot and stay at a lot of Best Westerns. The prices are usually decent and rooms adequate. My girlfriend and I stayed here when we’d come to Tunica to celebrate my birthday. When we checked in, I couldn’t get my door open. It would turn green with the key but the door knob wouldn’t turn. I went back to the front desk and the lady called maintenance but they didn’t answer. At that point, she said there wasn’t anything else she could do without maintenance. I told her I didn’t want to deal with that room all night if something was wrong with the door. Then instead of trying to get me another room, she got an attitude with me and started arguing that “since the green light came on, there’s nothing wrong with the door, there’s just something jammed.” I again asked for a different room and she, still with an attitude, told me there weren’t any other rooms on that floor. When I told her I didn’t care what floor, she interrupted me as rudely said she was moving me. I said thank you and she didn’t respond, I asked her a question and she didn’t respond, and i said “thank you” again when she gave me the new key and she still didn’t respond. I paid more for that room than I’ve ever paid for one night in a hotel, so I expected to be treated with at least some respect. Then we get to our room and there was a plastic bag wrapped around our smoke detector, out closet door kept sticking, and there was a BAD brown stain around the bathtub drain that I’m not entirely sure was rust. I stay at a lot of Best Westerns because they always treat me well. I had several options in Tunica, including a casino hotel I could’ve stayed at for $50 more. I plan to come to Tunica regularly but will never stay at this hotel again.

This place really needs a pick me upper and some remodeling. Me and my fiance' stayed because the casino had no rooms available. Worst stay ever , tub overflows with water while you are in the shower. Elevator acts as if it's about to give out . Sheets weren't to clean and my face broke out with fine bumps. Room phone didn't work so you had to leave the room to ask for what you need at the front desk. I will never return again ud83eudd26‍♀ufe0f

Staff was so kind and helpful. Bed was super comfortable and even though they were sold out and busy the room was still so quiet so I was able to get some good sleep. Thank you!

They greeted you nicely with a shield above the desk and it looked nice when we came through the doors. I thought everything was good until I stepped in the room. The odor was disgusting, the headboard was not cleaned, the bathroom tub was not cleaned, the outlets didn’t work, and there was mold in the ceiling above the shower head. I’m so happy I bought my cleaning supplies and a comforter for the bed. I refused to let my son touch anything in that room and was happy to leave the next day.

Very clean, nice comfortable room.nDid not like that outside door end of rooms didn't lock. Anyone could walk in. Uneasy feeling.nAlso they didn't put out anything to eat. Only had juice and coffee but didn't lower the price of room without their breakfast.
