Someone I know was assaulted and to press charges they were told that had to wait until the week started because the officer who handles that doesn't work weekends. Are you kidding me?! So charges can't be filed during the weekends?!nnYou heard it hear folks- if you want to assault someone it best you do it on the weekends.

I hate dealing with Union county sheriff department. They treat the inmates like dogs instead of people. If you call and ask a question they are so rude. I'm really thinking about moving out of Union county, I love New Albany but the police DO NOT protect and serve.

Absolute terrible place, husband called the law for someone harassing us and Our 3 toddlers, they show up, arrest him instead, saying he had contempt from 5 years ago, yet anytime my husband ever had court he went, terrible place, glad to be moving from this county soon!!!
