It's a lay over for the train but at the exit to the station there is a awesome restaurant the steak is to die for the the other menu items are wonderful if you're ever there and not in a hurry take some me time and try the food... I guarantee it won't be a waste of your time or money.Hope you have a great St Louis

Be aware of schedule changes. Especially here since it splits going Eastbound (Southeast bound towards Shrewsbury)... Staff is usually consistent due to past crime on DeBaliviere and on the news train platform. It can be chaotic, especially during rush hour... Overall, it's a good place to get affordable (but slow) transportation anywhere in St. Louis and across the river into Illinois.

I felt very safe. There were many security guards there.

Not that safe too many thugs hanging around, needs more security. Can be dangerous at night.
