What an amazing museum! Most museums like this one have a lot of pictures and some uniforms. The St. Charles County Veterans Museum goes so much deeper! Amazing collection of uniforms, letters, medals, weapons and original artwork fill the room to overflowing. I went on a day they were closed and Jim still walked me through the whole place and gave me the full tour. The folks that run this museum have such a heart for those who have served and our stories. If you are around the St. Charles, Missouri area I would HIGHLY recommend taking the time to visit this awesome place.
The only thing that surpasses the remarkable stories and artifacts that are preserved at the museum is the staff that has put this together. Jim is an exceptional person and has done an incredible job of honoring all the veterans throughout our country's history, but has also done such a great job of capturing the history and the stories of local veterans as well. Thanks to Jim's efforts and countless hours of dedication, each peice in the museum comes alive as the personal stories and accounts of the people who served is learned. As a veteran, I was deeply touched by the unparalleled dedication that Jim and his staff put forth to make a special place like this.nThis museum will help us remember always that freedom isn't free.nnDarin and Tina

Great visit at St Charles County Veterans Memorial museum! Such personal and inspiring exhibits and incredible story about WWII vet Ralph Barrale Thank you volunteers and harvest host!
It was wonderful!!! Marsha & Jim shared so much information. There was so much memorablia to see. I really loved the stories about the different people. The notebooks with stories about individuals were so personal that it felt like they were talking to me. Proud of them for their service.
