The service man was very polite and professional. He seemed very generously concerned when having to deliver bad news concerning that a new water heater would need to be installed. He answered all my questions and got me scheduled at the earliest time. The service men were on time and got the water heater installed without disrupting the household with a new infant and a 2 year old toddler. I will highly recommend them to all seeking out plumbing needs.
All Hours was great when our furnace stopped working when it was -1 outside. They came out quickly and were extremely thorough diagnosing our issue. When they determined we needed a new furnace a crew was out 2 hours later, on a Saturday night. Pricing was extremely reasonable even with it being off hours and an absolute must. We will definitely be using All Hours for any of our future needs!
The first winter I lived in my house, I had furnace issues. A family friend recommended All Hours Heating and Cooling, so I called them up to solve my furnace problem. One service call and my furnace was back up and running without any problems for the rest of the winter. Fast forward to this last Super Bowl Sunday and I ended up with a 59° house during the Arctic blast. I made an appointment for Monday, and received a call Monday morning that someone would be coming over to take a look at my furnace. The technician took the top panel off my furnace then looked out the window and saw ice on my intake and exhaust vents outside. He went out and knocked the ice off, went back down to the furnace and it was back up and running. Great! So, he billed me and was out the door onto the next job. I was charged the service call fee plus labor—I didn’t realize the labor was added in until I got my emailed receipt. I was shocked that I was charged labor fees simply for hitting a pipe 5-6 times and being at my house for all of 7 minutes. Had I known that would’ve solved the problem, I would’ve done that myself. Well, that did not solve the problem, as my house continued to stay cool throughout the day. I called the next day and asked for them to return to my house. Another technician came out this time and did much more work than the first tech. He spent about 30 minutes working on wiring, the condensation reservoir, and checked the exhaust and intake vents (which were reported to be fine). Awesome! Didn’t have to pay anything. I left my house to run an errand with the temp now at 65°. I returned home 15 minutes later and my house was 62°. By this point, I’m extremely frustrated that the problem has not been solved. After my own examination, I realized the intake and exhaust vents are likely working against each other (this was addressed LAST winter by the same company and I was instructed to add PVC pipe to one, which I did). There just wasn’t a big enough space between the two, so one trip to the hardware store to buy some PVC pipe and connector later, my furnace was holding steady all day long. Yes! Until nighttime. When I went to bed, my house was at the appropriate temp. When I woke up, however, it had gone down to 59°. I’m now on the 3rd call to this business. Another tech comes out and checks everything and finds that the exhaust and intake pipes are STILL working against one another. To my surprise, the tech added his own PVC pipe to the exhaust vent and explained the issue. The furnace kicked back on and everything seems to be running smoothly. I guess I’ll see in the morning to confirm the problem is solved before anything else. I will say this company worked with me and made it a priority to get over to my house. I’m disappointed that it took 3 different calls to potentially solve the problem. I was also put off by the fact that the first visit seemed very rushed and included the cost of labor when no labor was really done. Fortunately, I didn’t have to pay anything else during the other two visits, for which I am grateful. If you need something done quickly, give them a call. I just hope you have better luck solving the problem than me.nnEdited to add to my review 2/11/21: I'm increasing my rating to 4 stars. Upon leaving my review, the company called me 3 times. At the time, however, I couldn't answer. I quickly returned their call and spoke to the owner. He shared that my payment was refunded (which I certainly did not expect). I explained my frustrations - he was very apologetic of how long it took to solve the problem. I appreciate the willingness of this business to make it right. I'm not one to complain just to complain -- I was just frustrated and quite stressed about the matter. I recognize and appreciate the work, time, and energy that all the techs put into my furnace. Should I experience any other issues, I will give them a call.
My go to business for heating and cooling. If something isn't right they make it so. Growing business with same small town service. I trust what they tell me and don't try to upsell anything. Been using them for years and they are quick to come out no matter what time if night or day, and explain what they are doing and why, even providing options if there are any. Give them a call, you won't be disappointed!
Our furnace went out the same time as the coldest week of winter was hitting. Single and negative digits. They came on Saturday, gave a professional analysis and competitive quote. They arrived early Monday and within 5 hours we were back to roasty-toasty. I highly recommend!
