Due to corona, there was no fair, just drive in movie theater.

Great idea to offer a drive in movie experience at the Frederick fairgrounds

Went there for a hot tub expo but at the same time there was a reptile expo.nThe tub expo was fine but...... there was zero social distancing at the reptile show. I mean like, 25 people shoulder to shoulder just in one ares alone. To boot they wanted to charge me and my wife a cover charge for their Covid super spreader event.. screw that...nMy wellness far more important than your lack of protecting of the public over a snake ud83dudc0dnnI hold the fairgrounds accountable for not policing their events

Came for the drive in and loved it! Absolutely a great time! Tiny hiccup in the beginning of the very first movie of the season (the broadcast volume was really low) but they raised it and had it straightened out in less than five minutes then the rest of it went off beautifully!nnI really am impressed with how organized it was. Plenty of space for anyone who's Covid cautious (I'm vaccinated and I do what I want! jk), good food, good beer, the movie line up looks great this season, Jurassic Park! Just another reason I love Frederick.nnWould make a great finale to an inexpensive family day downtown, start at the Roads and Rails museum, hit Spinners, wind down with a movie!nnI definitely see myself spending many nights here this Spring and Summer :)

They had drive in movies. The picture was incredibly good, we sat in the back of our truck bed and had a boom box but the sound could be heard through your car speakers. I recommend a portable radio of some type. It was a beautiful night abit cool so bring blankets. Great fun.. enjoy
