It was wonderful looking at the old trains of days past and the train ride was fun as well.
This is the most fantastic museum in Atlanta. Lots of really cool stuff and the train rides are fun. Just wait until you see the old taxicabs and buses truly a jewel in metro Atlanta! A real hidden gem.
Our two boys (ages 4 and 6) loved this place. They would have gone through every train (there are quite a few), if we would have had more time to spend there. I found the place very interesting, as well. The model train exhibit was awesome. I look forward to returning when we have more time to spend there. The staff was very friendly, too.
Southern Railroad Museum is the place to visit if you like to go back in time. Step inside Pullman coaches from the 30's and 40's. Steam locomotive and diesel engines.nAntique collection of taxi's and delivery trucks.nnYou can take a train ride.nnTwo HO train layouts.nnIf your into dinnerware, they have an excellent collection .
These exhibits need to be kept clean and they need to be remodeled
