We had to replace our gas hot air furnace recently and placed a call to Rich Mathews & Son to give us a quote to do the work. He had previously installed a water heater at our house and did a great job at a fair price so we didn't hesitate to call him again. He just completed the installation of our new gas heating system and everything went smooth from start to finish. He explained to us exactly what needed to be done and he made sure that the project is completed as promised at a price that was again unbeatable. I would highly recommend that you contact them for any similar work you need done and I will be sure to hire them again if the need arises! It was a pleasure working with him!

Rich Mathews is a true professional. Can't say enough good things about him. Answered when I called, took the time to speak with me and explain my options, got us on his calendar in a reasonable amount of time, friendly in person, and noticed a few small things that needed fixing on site and did it just because he's a great person.

Saturday morning. No hot water! No heat! Our Weil McClain boiler will not ignite. Rich Mathews and Son Lynnfield responded promptly. After a quick inspection the problem was identified fixed. We appreciated them coming out on short notice, fair price and attention to workplace safety with regard to COVID-19. We're very pleased with the work done by Rich. His quote and final price was half of the highest bid, and he was able to complete it fast. The work done was very thorough, on time, and included some extras that our 1880's house needed. Every inch of pipe was tested for leaks after installation was complete. Great guy, responsive and professional service. Hopefully I won't need his services again too soon, but he'll definitely be at the top of my list for future work.

Rich did an exceptional job at our house. We are new homeowners and we were faced with a water heater not up to code. Not only did he go out of his way to ensure that the correct solution was done, but he took the time to explain all the options, listened to our needs and gave us the best pricing- out of three quotes! The job was completed the following day immaculately. He followed up the following day to ensure our satisfaction. An extremely professional and honest person.
