They lost my autistic son and didn't call me to tell me until an hour AFTER they found him. They constantly lost medical permission forms for my children's nebulizer and inhaler. Told me my kids couldn't go there next year then applied for their scholarship money at the start of the next year. They told us the kids couldn't go to summer school they didn't qualify. I found out they were enrolled in summer school, got the funds for the summer school and the kids never went. Then through the entire year they called CPS on us because I complained about all these problems. Find another school to enroll in or suffer a nightmare.
I went here from 1991 too 1996. So many wonderful memories! Wish my children could go here also! Love OJP!

IF I COULD GIVE THIS SCHOOL A 0 I WOULD. TRUE ENOUGH SOME OF THE TEACHERS ARE GREAT BUT SOME OF THEM ARE VERY MEAN TO THE KIDS WHEN THEY THINK NO ONE IS LISTENING. MY DAUGHTER IS IN PRE K AND WAS CALLED THE N WORD SEVERAL TIMES AND THE TEACHER NOR THE PRE SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION NOR THE PRINCIPAL OR ANYONE DID ANYTHING ABOUT IT . I REPORTED IT YET NOTHING WAS DONE ABOUT IT. THE HEAD OF THE PRE SCHOOL PROGRAM THERE IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND CARES MORE ABOUT HER JOB AND THAN HANDLING ACTUAL PROBLEMS. MY DAUGHTER HAS ADHD AND MISSED SEVERAL DAYS AND I INFORMED THE SCHOOL HER 504 FORM WAS BEING FAXED AND THEY KICKED HER OUT BEFORE THEY EVEN RECEIVED IT BUT OF COURSE THEY DID NOTHING TO THE CHILD WHO CALLED HER THE N WORD AND SPIT ON HER. MY BABY HATES THAT SCHOOL AND SHE IS ONLY 4.
